Winter Retreat 2007: January 5,6,7 - Streamside Camp and Conference Center, Stroudsburg, PA Update: 1/5/07, 2:45pm: Jack Frost and Big Boulder both have snow. Check the web cams on their site. People are skiing right now! We are planning to go to a mountain tomorrow. Bring that ski gear. It will be a spring day on the mountain! Our Winter Retreat is an annual event that starts the new year. We travel to the Poconos on Friday night, get settled in and then start a weekend full of activity. This year, we will be using the Streamside Camp and Conference Center for our retreat. Check out the facility by visiting their web site. Friday night is a time of fun and fellowship. Saturday, we head out to Big Boulder for skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing. Saturday evening is more fellowship and fun. Sunday we have a worship time and conclude our program and this year, we'll be hanging out on the tubing run at Streamside. We are home in time to do some homework so plan for it. We will get back around diner time this year. This trip rocks! You can pick up a brochure in the youth room or you can print it from here: Brochure Mom or Dad - If you missed the meeting, email Denise or Bruce to make arrangements. Please don't wait until the day we leave to take care of the business of signing forms. It makes things so hard for Denise. Bruce is returning to lead his 12th or 13th consecutive trip (he can't remember how many he has done). If you have questions or need help with anything, please contact Bruce via email.
