Creation 2007

Creation 2007:

The FPCA youth once again traveled to the center of PA for this awesome experience of lifting praise to our Creator through music and word.  For those who do not know about the event, 100,000+ gather on a farm in central PA for 5 days of great music.  We camped together in the fields of the farm.  FPCA youth have a 16 person army tent, and lots of borrowed equip that let's us take up to 40 people.

Make sure you look at our picture gallery.

Our adventure started with the guys leaving Tuesday afternoon to go and set up camp.  We were so busy working, that we forgot to take pictures!  dooh!

The gals came up on Wednesday but owing to a blown tire on the church bus, they were delayed by several hours.  Once they arrived and all got settled, we had our diner and got ready to head to the main stage for the first speaker.  Well, the best plans get changed as a mean thunder storm came through canceling the time at the main stage.  The storm moved through damaging our dining fly but all survived and stayed reasonably dry.  The speaker and concerts went on.  The fireworks were superb as was the music.

Thursday brought more showers but didn't dampen our spirits.  We worshiped and listened to the speakers.  The bands played on and we had a great day.  We ended the evening with communion.

Friday, we took a day to go to Raystown Lake for a swim and then returned for the evening program at the Agape Farm.  The highlight of Friday night was the candlelight service at the end of the evening.

Saturday the weather was spectacular and we had a grand day.

Sunday was sad as we had to pack to come home.

The 2007 Creation Team:
